This will be a very strange five star review since I did have numerous issues during and after the install. I am not a plumber, but I have installed a couple dozen faucets over the years and, on the face of it, the install is pretty straightforward and relatively easy. The unit itself is very beefy- even the sprayer. I swear if you need a weapon carry this faucet around for protection. You can beat any attacker to death with it using a couple of swings. It’s very nice looking in design, and the finish is consistent and pleasant looking.
This faucet was even better than expected. It was packaged really nicely and is really heavy duty, especially the sprayer.
The only complaint is that the thread pipes that go through the Counter and hook up the water lines should be longer. They were too short for our counters. My husband ended up having to counter sink a hole in the under side of our butcher block to make them work. But if you are only going through a sink or a thinner counter top it wouldn’t be an issue.
Edited- changed from 1 to 5 star review because Kingston Brass customer service did call us back, and as the faucet is covered under a 10 year warranty they sent us a replacement part for free. The leak is fixed! Thankful they made it right. It’s beautiful!
We had this faucet installed 9 months ago and it has been leaking for the last month. The inner metal casing is cracked. I have called and left several messages at Kingston Brass with no return call. I will update this review if they eventually make it right. It’s too bad because it is very pretty!
I found the faucet as expected and beautiful! I was nervous about getting it based on some of the reviews. For the price I was able to get the faucet and the extended warranty for the same price as just the faucet on other websites. I thought it was a very easy install. With the right tools (pipe wrench) it took me about an hour to put in. That was just because I am old and laying on my back under a sink bothered my back and I took a few breaks. I am so happy with the faucet. It has transformed my kitchen now I need to get a new paper towel holder to keep up this the style! Love it!
