This came securely packaged and included; a very large roll of Teflon tape, a 2″ nipple with an Allen wrench that can be used to install it (the nipple is machined inside so it can be installed without damaging the threads, white gloves (I’m not kidding) so you can install it without touching the chrome!
Some tips for installation if you do it yourself:
1. Use Telfon pipe dope along WITH the tape to prevent leaks and ease installation. You apply a thin coat of the dope, then wrap it in the tape, then another thin coat of dope. This will almost guarantee no leaks. Tape or dope alone will often not be enough.
2. The faucet has notches so you can use a wrench to install the faucet itself. RESIST THE URGE TO USE THE FAUCET ARMS TO SCREW THE FAUCET ON! Doing that will no doubt bend it or damage the seals. However, DO wrap the pipe with masking tape where the wrench notches are. Use a 12″ adjustable crescent wrench on top of the taped notches and you’ll have no trouble getting it tight enough and NO scratches.

Installed this at a new beverage bar we’re adding just off the kitchen. Makes filling the coffee pot simple.
The fixture includes clear instructions and all the hardware we needed from the finished wall surface. We were careful to mount the in-wall fitting (purchased separately) deep enough behind the finished wall surface so a standard length nipple would allow this fixture to be tightened without any leaks.
Very happy after a month or so. No more carrying the coffee pot to the kitchen sink! Just need to finish the tile work now…
I saw this pot filler and knew it would be perfect for over my new stove. The design is really great, the quality seems to be very good. My contractor had no problem installing it, maybe took him about 15 minutes as he has to drill into the glass it would be mounted to for the two anchor screws in the back plate. It has a victorian look to the levers which drew me to it. Did not want an angled modern one. It fit my glass panel perfect. So excited about how it looks.
This faucet appears to be an amazing value for the price. We purchased to add to our kitchen during a recent remodel. Originally considered name brands – Kohler, delta, etc at much higher prices but decided to take a chance based on the positive reviews. This one shipped quickly, was well packaged, and is very solidly constructed. The only negative I could find was the instructions could be a bit more clear. They indicated the maximum the nipple should extend beyond the wall is 1.2 inches, but at that measurement the faucet did not seal properly. To get it to seal required about a 1/4″ further protrusion of the nipple. Not a big deal, but something you want to verify before closing the wall up! Other than that, if you are looking for an inexpensive, well built pot filler this should fit the bill.
